Eldean Carpenter

Eldean Screeton Carpenter of North Little Rock, 79, was born October 21, 1933, in Carlisle, Arkansas and she went to be with the Lord Friday, September 27, 2013.

She assisted her husband's dental practice for 48 years before retiring. Eldean is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Richard Allen Carpenter; daughter Elizabeth Ann Bullock of Hot Springs, sons Terry (Elizabeth) Carpenter of Fayetteville, David (Maria) Carpenter of Sherwood, Allen Fitzgerald of Thailand; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren & great-great grandchildren; and a host of friends & family. She was preceded in death by a son Richard Dean Carpenter; and one grandson Travis Wayne Carpenter. She was a very generous, kind, loving & gracious Mother, Friend, Wife & Grandmother. Eldean was a member of the Beebe chapter of the Eastern Star, she was elected to Worthy Matron and was appointed to serve as a representative for the Arkansas Chapter for two years in New York City.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2013, at Westbrook Chapel, with burial in Sylvania cemetery, Ward, AR.
