Elbert Franklin "Frank" Dickerson, 83, of Maumelle died Dec. 9, 2011. He was born May 25, 1928 in Mullikin, KY to the late Raymond Dickerson & Lettie Fryar Dickerson. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Frank worked for 20 years at the Kyle Hotel and later worked with Temple Housing Authority until his retirement.
Frank was preceded in death by four brothers: Bill, Ray, Rudell & Charles Dickerson and the mother of his children, Frances Dickerson. He is survived by his wife, Linda Greer Dickerson of Maumelle; daughter, Barbara Franklin (Kenny) of Moody, TX; son, Danny Dickerson (Marylin) of Temple, TX; stepchildren: Michael Greer (Vicki) of Little Rock, Mitchell Greer of Mayflower, Michelle Newth of Conway & Melanie Mitchell (Larry "Mitch") of Mayflower; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Noon Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., North Little Rock, AR. Interment will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the V.A. Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
