Elaine Shuffield

Elaine Brock Shuffield, 78, of Arkadelphia, left us on February 18, 2017 for a long awaited heavenly date with her husband of 46 years, T. Clint Shuffield, who preceded her in death in July 2004.

Career accomplishments include hat check girl at Coy's Steakhouse, telephone operator and owner/operator of Montgomery Wards catalog store. She also owned and operated Shuffield Real Estate and Insurance for over 40 years with her husband, Clint.

Elaine was a member of First Baptist Church in Arkadelphia, the local Eastern Star Chapter, prior volunteer for Red Cross and prior member of Arkadelphia Business & Professional Women.

She loved the Lord and her church and volunteered often. Survivors include her 3 sons, Mark (Kelly) of Little Rock, Phillip (Pam) and Brian of Arkadelphia. She also had 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 24th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia from 6-8 P.M. A celebration service will be held Saturday, February 25th at 11 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. Dr. Lee McGlone will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens

Pallbearers are grandsons, Brock Shuffield, Cole Shuffield, Tyler Shuffield, Mason Shuffield, and Rhett Shuffield, Nephews Paul Ridgeway, Jason Munden, Johnny Shuffield, Jimmy Shuffield and Stan Prince.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church-Arms Around Arkadelphia.
