Elaine Nichols Lambert, 87, of Benton, Arkansas passed away September 10, 2015. She was born on August 10, 1928 in Cedar Glades, Arkansas.
Elaine was an administrative assistant and served under the late superintendents Howard Perrin and Dr. Kenneth Cook. She retired after 20 years of service in the Benton School District. Elaine was a member of the First Baptist Church of Benton where she and husband L.D. Lambert taught in the children's ministry for 22 years.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Leonard D. Lambert.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories one daughter, Becky Lambert Ballard and husband Sam; two granddaughters, Brooke Neufer and husband Jared, Kelsey Schramko and husband Chris; five great-grandchildren, Max and Rush Neufer and Boston, Camdynn and Kaden Schramko; two sisters, Norma Tucker and Dona Laywell; and many other family members and friends who loved Elaine and will miss her always.
Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Mark Evans and Dr. Rick Grant, will be held Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. The family invites all guests to a lunch reception visitation following the service. Interment will be at Crestview Memorial Park in Hot Springs, AR. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Ford, Greg Ford, Larry Housley, Stephen Housley, Doug Lambert, Ken Lambert, Monty Lambert, Jared Neufer, Gary Roberts, Jonathan Saffell, Chris Schramko, and James Small.
