Edward M. Turnage, 81, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, November 19, 2007. He was a retired residential construction manager, a member of Park Hill Baptist Church, a World War II veteran and a 32nd degree Mason. He loved to hunt and fish and was a member of the Stone Deer Camp. In his younger years he loved to rodeo and raised and trained quarter horses. He was most proud of his special quarter horse ?Goldie.?
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty; two daughters, Nancy Turney/Stanton and Dinese Simpson; two grandchildren, Jim Ed Simpson and Shanna Nacole Turney; great-granddaughter, Julia Elizabeth Simpson; brother, Charles L. Turnage; niece, Carol Turnage Meyer and a nephew, Cliff Turnage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Turnage and Gladys Stone Boykin.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Luke Flescher, Rev. Dwayne Thomas, Pastor Larry Seiferth and Chaplain Ray McCollough officiating.
