Edward E. Pence, 83, of Little Rock, passed away June 20, 2018 with his family at his side. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Franklin and Jewel Stanfield Pence, he was Vice-President of National Old Line Insurance Company. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Pence; children, Douglas E. Pence (Joanne) of Norman, AR, Gini Cocanower (Jaime) of Lowell, AR, Anne Strickland (Dr. Glen) of Lexington, SC and Sara Singel (John) of Conway; grandchildren, Allyson Parker (Trent), Kathryn Smith (Jason), Laura Pence, Whit Cocanower (Michelle), Blair Heil (Brik), Dr. David Strickland (Michelle), Dr. Ben Strickland, Courtney Knox (Clint), Thomas Fessler, and Leigh Anne Heller (Aaron); great-grandchildren, Lane and Austen Parker, Matthew and Joshua Smith, Connor Heil, Ethan and Olivia Knox; brother, Mike Pence (Sue); and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Jimmie, Calvin, and Bob Pence; and sisters, Wanda Dexter and Norma Matta.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27 at 1 p.m., followed by the service at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 501 N. Shackelford, Little Rock, AR 72211. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church or to the Chickasaw Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 1726, Ada, OK 74821.
