Edward Mote, Jr

Edward Franklin Mote, Jr., 82, of Mabelvale passed away Feb. 23, 2018. He was born March 9, 1935 in Fort Smith to the late Edward Mote, Sr. and Blanche Rambo Mote.
He served in the US Army and retired after 36 years of service with Western Electric. He was a member for 52 years of Lifeline Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
Survivors include children: Linda Flowers of Little Rock, Clinton (Paula) Mote of McGehee and Cindy Mote Hoggard of Cabot; grandchildren: Nicole McCarty, Lauren Muller, Kaylee Campbell, Jennifer Kinkade, Doug Mote, Anslee Mote, Katie Mote, Madelyn Ginn and Seth Hoggard; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62, years, Beatrice Mote.
Memorials may be made to Lifeline Baptist Church in memory of Edward.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday. February 28, 2018 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 1, 2018 Pinecrest Memorial Park.
