Edward Franklin Schneider, age 67, of Hot Springs Village, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021.
He was born on November 7, 1953, in Trenton, Michigan, the son of Edward Julius Schneider and Mona Ella Smallwood Schneider. On March 28, 1984, he married Colleen Fay Haddox. He is preceded in death by his parents; those that he considered his father and mother, Harry Hazzard and Vivian Hazzard; his step-mother, Ann Hazzard; his brother, Bill Staples; and his sister, Susan Hazzard.
Edward was a Christian in his faith and associated with Pearcy Full Gospel Lighthouse. He loved talking about the bible and Jesus, making plans for the future, hunting, fishing and talking about hunting and fishing. He loved to smile, laugh, enjoy having fun, and making funny noises like crickets, turkeys and any other disgustingly funny noises. He also loved to watch or read about John Wayne, horses, wildlife, dinosaur movies and history. Edward hated a suit and tie and always wore blue jeans and long sleeve shirts with a white tee-shirt. His favorite color was red and he loved coffee and hot Cajun food.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Colleen Schneider of Hot Springs Village; his sister, Gigi Staples Nell; his sister-in-law, Susie Staples; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Memorial services will be 4:00 PM, Saturday, July 31, 2021, at the Pearcy Full Gospel Lighthouse. A meal will be served after the service. Colleen would like to welcome anyone that would like to bring a fun or funny tastefully appropriate story about Ed to do so at the memorial service.
