Edward David Conway, Jr., 69, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born April 20, 1941, and he died Saturday, November 6, 2010.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam. He was a manager for a uniform manufacturing company and was a member of the Floyd United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Conway; his mother, Evelyn Conway; one son, David Jr. Conway, of Floyd; one daughter, Connie Childers and husband Scott of St. Charles, Missouri; one stepson, Jerrell Thrasher of Kensett; three step-daughters, Terry Thrasher and Sherry Hackler, both of Kensett and Samantha Ann Smith of Beebe; one granddaughter, Amanda Edann Smith; two brothers, James Conway and wife Shirley of North Little Rock and Kenny Termin of Floyd; two sisters, Brenda Graham and husband Ronnie of Floyd and Linda Berry of Beebe; and a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Conway and a nephew, Rob Berry.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010, at Floyd United Methodist Church, with burial in New Floyd Cemetery.
