Edward Brown

Edward Ray Brown, 85, of North Little Rock, fell a sleep and went to Heaven Tuesday, October 28, 2008. He was born March 24, 1923 in Bee Branch to Clarence Earl and Rosa Lee McKnight Brown. Mr. Brown was retired from Sun Oil Company and was a United States Air Force World War II Veteran. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Jean Culberson Brown; two daughters, Linda Gaither and Cynthia Gibson; brother, Graydon Brown all of North Little Rock; three grandchildren, Robert and Thomas (Kim) Gaither, Laura Lee Gibson; and a great-grandson, Colton Gaither.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parent; two sister, Margueritte Holt and Imogene Hammond.
Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 17029, North Little Rock, AR 72117.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
