Edna “Mean Jean” Turner

Edna “Mean Jean” Turner, 73, Of North Little Rock, was surrounded by her family as she finished her journey on this earth February 16, 2023.

Edna was born July 16, 1949, to the late Curtis & Maudie Kidd, and proceeded in death by her husband, David Turner, and Granddaughter Amanda Yearber.

Edna is survived by her children, Joyce Copeland (Kenny), Bobby (Kristie) D’Angelo, Terri Spikes, Bubba (Sam), along with her ever present partner in crime and great granddaughter Leslie Yearber, and 10 Grand Children, plus 11 Great Grand Children. 

Although most of us called her Mean Jean, it wasn’t the exact truth, fact is, she took in many people over the years, but she was never afraid to smack them in the back of the head, and tell them to straighten up, wearing a big grin the whole time, for all this she will be sorely missed.

A visitation will be held at Monday, February 20th at 4:00 PM, with a service following at 5:00 PM, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.
