Edna Hopkins

Edna "Pauline" Hopkins, a long-time resident of the Willow House, died Friday the 17th of April, peacefully at home under the care of Arkansas Hospice.

Born in 1926 in Bradley county, AR. Pauline retired from the Arkansas State Hospital where she happily worked in dietary.

When Pauline retired she didn't stop there. She loved helping those around her and went on to volunteer more then 300+ hours with the Arkansas State Hospital. She also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, where she was very actively involed in her younger years.

Pauline loved good food, cooking, socializing, and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. She loved playing beanbag for the Bombers at the Willow House. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.

She is survived by her brother Donald Brown; her daughter Norma Jean Boswell; her three sons Dale Lemley, Wayne Lemley, and Robert Kay; and is a great great grandmother.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary VFW post 4845 Jacksonville, AR.
