Edna Brockinton

Edna Lee Carmical Brockinton, 86, of Cabot passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family on Monday, November 25, 2019. She was born September 11, 1933 in the hilltop community, Arkansas to John Sanford and Cleoria Edna Eagle Carmical. She was an accomplished business woman in banking and real estate.  She was also an avid gardener and cook.  Edna was a charter member of Hilltop Baptist Church. She retired at age 50 and returned to the hilltop community of her birth and childhood to devote her life to her children and grandchildren. She was a dedicated PTA member throughout her children’s school years, and was President for several years.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Leroy Brockinton; children, Tony Brockinton (Terry), Terri Brockinton Miller and Lisa Brockinton Denton (Larry); grandchildren, Daniel and David Simpson, Sean and Kyle Miller, Jordan and Kellyn Brockinton; her beloved nephew, Richard Carmical and other extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Joshua Brockinton; sister, Christine Carmical and her brother, Arthur Carmical.

Join us to Celebrate her Life at the visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2019 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Harmony Cemetery.
