Edith Sarah Todor

Edith Todor, age 51, of Hot Springs, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

She was born on March 19, 1970, in Romania, the daughter of Moses Matis and Elizabeth Szeria Matis. On August 7, 1992, she married Marcu Todor.

Edith was a Christian in her faith and a member of Betania Romanian Apostolic Church. She loved to grow vegetables in her garden, cook, teach and spending time with her family. Edith’s happy place was at the beach. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend, who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Marcu Todor of Hot Springs; one son, Brian Todor of Hot Springs; two daughters, Brianna Todor and Clarissa Todor; her parents, Moses and Elizabeth Matis of Hot Springs; extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021, at 9:00 AM with George Sasca officiating in the Betania Romanian Apostolic Church.

Interment will be in the Crestview Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Pallbearers will be Brian Todor, Christian Graves, Youman Caldwell, D.J. McArty, Travis McDowell, and Mark Williams.
