Edith Othelle Good

Edith Othelle Good, 104, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 15, 2023. She was born in Big Sandy, Texas on July 19, 1918 to the late, Walter Belyeu and Nora Fant Belyeu. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Monis Good, brothers, Howell Canon, Carrol Belyeu, Ernest Belyeu and an infant great-granddaughter, Julia.

Othelle grew up in Texas, California and Arizona. She graduated from Arizona State University with a teaching degree and taught elementary school. She met her husband, John Monis Good in Ajo, Arizona where he was training during WWII. As an Air Force family they traveled throughout the United States and Europe with their children, John and Sheryl. She has been a resident of Conway since 1971 and a member of Harlan Park Baptist Church

She is survived by her son, John Wade Good and wife, Lesley; her daughter, Sheryl Gardner; grandchildren, Adam Good, Abbey Harriman, Kyle Good, and Kimberly Donaghy; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Griffin Leggett Conway, on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a graveside at Crestlawn Memorial Park at 11:30 a.m.
