Edgar Kelley

Edgar L. Kelley, 84, of Sheridan, was called home to the Lord on October 15, 2014. He was born in North Little Rock to Holmon and Gertie Causey Kelley. Mr. Kelley was a member of New Hope Church of the Nazarene, Antler Deer Club, and the American Legion. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason, U.S. Army Korean War veteran, and retired from Kroger after twenty-seven years.

He is survived by his wife, Margarie Kelley; son, Christopher Kelley (Dana); step-daughter, Cynthia Lunsford; brothers, Joe Kelley, Robert Kelley and Olen Kelley (Ruth); sisters, Lorene Latham , Annie Goacher (Lewis), Lois Hardin, Alice Cook, and Linda Hearn (Gary); sister-in-law, Ann Kelley; grandsons, Joey and Trevor Kelley, Dust'n Lunsford (Megan) and Brian Hamilton; granddaughters, Ashley Bovara and Morgan Parker (Nicholas); great-granddaughters, Hadlee Lunsford and Greenlee Bovara; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Holmon Kelley, Jr.; and daughter, Lynn Cherie Kelley.

Visitation is this evening, Friday, October 17 from 5-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services are Saturday, October 18 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Church of the Nazarene, 5519 Atwood Road, Little Rock, officiated by Pastor George Yarberry and Pastor Leon Dixon, Jr. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Ico.
