Edgar Beeson

Edgar W. Beesson, 84, of Maumelle passed away Friday, December 7, 2007. He was a Right of Way Agent for Arkansas Power and Light. Mr. Beeson was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church, 32nd degree Mason with the Mt. Siani Lodge, Scottish Rite and Scimitar Shrine Temple and Jester. He was also a member of Eastern Star (Worthy Patron), Elks Lodge, Rainbow Dad, World War II U.S. Navy Veteran Petty Officer 1st Class serving as a pharmacist mate.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lois (Ramsey) Beeson of Maumelle; one son, Larry Beeson of Little Rock; two daughters, Robin Henry and husband, Larry of Odessa, Texas and Lynn Banaszak of North Little Rock; one brother, Robert L. Beeson of Port Neches, Texas; one sister, Wanda Faye Mills of Lawrenceville, Georgia; four grandchildren, Misti Schneidewind of Niceville, Florida, Robert Wadley of Colombia, Missouri, Emily Banaszak and Eric Banaszak both of North Little Rock; two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Hannah Schneidewind. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar W. and Anita (Hill) Beeson, three brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with Col. F.J. Mills, retired U.S. Army officiating.
