Eddie Lee McClellan, age 86, of Hot Springs, passed away, Thursday, February 18, 2021.
Eddie was born in Warren on May 25, 1934, the son of Horace McClellan and Lillie Allens McClellan. He is preceded in death by his parents; his two sons, Jerry Lee McClellan and Andy Rowley; his brothers; and his sisters.
He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church of Hot Springs and was a minister at Southside Baptist Church in Lake Village, Arkansas. He was a long hall trucker for Red Line Trucking for over 25 years; route driver for Sunbeam Bread company for 20 years; and he later worked in Hot Springs for Sanders Security for over 5 years. He enjoyed fishing, but his greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 49 years, Una Mae McClellan of Hot Springs; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Danny Ray McClellan of Monticello, Joey McClellan of Batesville and Chuck and Catty Rowley of Lacey, Washington; three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Ed Speakman of Sulphur, Sandra and Don Finley of Cave City and Arlene and Jim Andersen of Hot Springs; nineteen grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family members and many good friends.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 28, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daniel Parker officiating. Social distancing directives will be in place with 66% capacity in chapel and face covering must be worn.
