Ed Pack, 95, of Austin passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012. He was a member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hayden Pack; seven children, Faye Dawson, Kenneth Pack (Fran), Lavenia Tanksley (Frankie), Linda Ann Bowlin, Betty Baker (David), James Pack (Linda Ann) and Charles Pack (Cindy); his twin sister, Edna Harrison and sister, Audrey Strange; 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvis and Emma Davis Pack; three children, Jim, Arlene and Thomas Pack; grandchildren, Tonya Baker and Brenda Pack; and ten brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 505 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be 2:00 p.m., Friday at Zion Hill Cemetery in Pope County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
