E. B. “Buster” Bennett, Sr., 90, was born November 22,1931, and raised in Little Rock. He began his greatest adventure on May 3, 2022. He traveled around the world pursuing his entrepreneurial endeavors. As he aged, he served on the Pulaski County Equalization Board for many years. Buster was an avid pilot in his younger years; a member of the Iron Springs Masonic Lodge; a 32nd Degree Master Mason and a Shriner and was a lifelong member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, C. E. Bennett, Sr., mother, Zola Torrence Bennett, and older sister, Minnie Ellen Arbogast.
He is survived by his partner-in-crime of 65 years, wife, Mary E. Bennett, children, Cynthia Waldron (William), Kimberly Bennett-Lawhon, E. B. “Chip” Bennett, Jr. (Renee), along with seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He also leaves brothers: Jackson "Jackie" (Berniece), C.E, Jr. (Rovilla), Eugene (Darlene), and Gary (Lynn), plus sisters: Melba Jones and Donna Overby (Robert) and a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, plus a few great-grands.
Visitation will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, May 9, 2022 at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
