Earlene Looper, age 73, of Hot Springs, died peacefully Thursday, May 12, 2016. She was born July 12, 1942, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Earl Cogburn and Rosalee Reynolds Cogburn. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Curtis Cogburn. She was a member of The Word of Faith Outreach in Amity and alumni of Caddo Gap High School. Earlene, more commonly known as Nanall, was a Proud Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. An avid golfer and former bridge player, she loved card games, traveling, spending time with friends and talking about her treasured family. She is survived by two children and their spouses, Jim and Denise Looper of Amity and Sherry and Steve Fulkerson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Ashley Ann Hodge, Danielle Kae Moreland, Cody James Looper, Alexandria Ann Duren, and her great-grandchildren, Olivia Grace Hodge, Grayson Trey Hodge, Adalee Kae Moreland, Paislee Kae Moreland and Baby Moreland. Visitation will be Monday, 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM, at Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood, with graveside services following at 5:00 PM in the Fancy Hill Cemetery. A family and friends gathering will be held in the home Mary Forsythe after the service. Memorials may be made to the Word of Faith Outreach, 12826 Hwy 8 W, Amity, Arkansas, 71921.
