Earl Noble

Earl Dwight Noble, Jr. 89, died December 8, 2017 at home with family and friends. He was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas on September 13, 1928, the son of Earl Dwight Noble, Sr. and Erma Wilson Noble. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mabel Prince Noble, daughter and son-in-law, Doris June Brown and Danny Brown, daughter, Rena Marie Knight and his second wife, Jayma Stephens Noble.

He enjoyed many hobbies such as hunting, fishing and flying, and he loved to travel. His business interests included owning and operating a Texaco service station for many years, certified life underwriter agent for Prudential Insurance and various real estate ventures. He was a devout Christian and most recently, a member of The Church at Rock Creek. Earl was extremely outgoing and enjoyed meeting and befriending many people. He was a loving brother, good friend to all he knew and a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather with a wonderful sense of humor.

Survivors include his sisters, Norma Noble Roady of Houston, Texas and Linda Noble Smith (Bob) of Rogers, Arkansas; son-in-law, C.A. "Al" Knight; granddaughter, Ashley Swann, grandson, Benjamin Brown and several great-grandchildren.

A special thanks is given to "Earl's Girls," Sarah Johnson and Meredith Doggett, for their devoted service, care, and love.

In lieu of flowers, memorials way be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
