Earl Frederick

Earl Dean Frederick, 79 of Bismarck, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Hospice Home Care Inpatient Center in Little Rock. He was born on September 1, 1932 in Harrison, Arkansas; and was the son of George and Annice Frederick.
Earl was retired from the United States Air Force, after twenty-one years of service, which included time during the Korean Conflict, Cold War, and Vietnam. While stationed in Turkey, Earl established a meeting place for Church of Christ worship services. Earl was one of the members in establishing the building of the Bismarck Church of Christ and was an active member. Earl also retired from the Cotton Belt Rail Road after thirteen years of service and loved fishing, hunting, and gardening.
He is preceded in death by his parents George and Annice Frederick, and a brother Jess David Frederick.
Survivors include his wife Wanda Frederick of Bismarck; son Dale Frederick (Carolyn) of Fayetteville; daughters Tammy Petre (Philip) of Cabot; and Sheila Jones (Larry) of Hot Springs; grandchildren SGT. Steven Petre US Army (Jessica), SGT. Brent Jones US Army (Stacy), and Destin Jones; great grandchildren Skyler Petre, Jimmy Petre, Alexis Jones, and Allie Jones; a brother Bob Frederick of Diamond City, sisters Yvonne Miller of Lead Hill and Kay Davis of Cumming, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel at 7700 Hwy 107 (JFK & Club Road), in Sherwood, Arkansas. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Huson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Earl's memory to the Children of Fallen Soldiers Charity P. O. Box 3968, Gaithersburg, MD 20885 or to the American Parkinson Disease Association at 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10305.
