Dwayne Whitley, 83, of Sherwood passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017. He was born July 11, 1934 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Elton and Maybelle Corder Whitley Bearden.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Georgia Whitley; two daughters, Sally (Brian) Casto and Susanna (Jack) Adams; grandchildren, Zachary, Madelyn, Leslie, Kay and Molly; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private graveside service was held Monday, October 9, 2017 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
