Dwayne Buck, age 83, of Pearcy, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023.

 

He was born on December 17, 1939, in Bonnerdale, the son of Lewis Lessel Buck and Audrey Ethel Deaton Buck.  On March 25, 1963, he married the love of his life, Carolyn Buchhiett, who has preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Louis Conrad Buck.

 

Dwayne was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.  He served his country for six years in the United States Army Reserves as a Sergeant.  He attended Henderson State University.  Dwayne loved going fishing, hunting, planting and working his garden, and keeping his dogs.    He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

 

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Sherri Buck; his daughter, Doris Beitzel; grandchildren, Bradley Buck and friend, Ashley Barringer, Colby Buck, Kaitlyn Buck, Josh Beitzel and friend, Amanda; one great-grandchild, Hunter; one brother, James LeRoy Buck; two sisters, Glenna White and Wanda Duborise; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dian and Richard Hall; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

 

Funeral services 2:00PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

 

Interment in the Mazarn Chapel Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be 1:00PM until 2:00PM, prior to the service.
