Dulcia McQueen

Dulcia Ann McQueen, 70, of Cabot, Arkansas, formerly of Beebe and Little Rock, joined her Lord and Savior on July 6, 2014. She was born in McRae, Arkansas on September 14, 1943 to Ovid and Elsie Poindexter.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and brothers, James and Lyle Poindexter.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Eugene McQueen; son Jefferson; foster children Rebekah Church, Matt Harrell and Brian Beck; sisters Betty Jones, Jean Gardner (Gerald) and Leoda Bennett; brother Phillip Poindexter (Kay); sister-in-law Lorena Poindexter; and many nieces and nephews.
Ann worked with her church, St. James United Methodist Church and UAMS to become their chaplain. She worked for many years as a fashion consultant for Dancaster Clothing. Close to the end of her life, Ann wanted to visit her niece, Barbara Benton, daily at her home.
Donations may be made to United Cerebral Palsy, 9720 N. Rodney Parham, Little Rock, AR 72227 or Pathfinder, 2400 W. Main, Jacksonville, AR 72076 in the name of Jeff McQueen.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. Cremation arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
