Jeff Willard Holland

Jeff Willard Holland passed away on November 4, 2019 at the age of 87. He was born on July 24, 1932, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Opal and Mary Ivesta Holland. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 67 years, Norma Irene Holland.
His professional life was dedicated to education. Throughout Jeffâs career, he acquired a B.A. Degree from Ouachita Baptist University, a M.S,E. Degree from Henderson State University, and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Arkansas. He held various positions in Lake Hamilton, Hot Springs, and Vilonia School Districts. Upon receiving his Doctorate in Education, Dr. Holland served as a Professor of Education and Director of Student Teaching at the University of Central Arkansas. As a faithful member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church, Jeff participated in many areas of service including music, teaching, Bible and prayer groups. He was loved very much by his family and friends who will dearly miss his quick wit and laughter, his fondness for sweets, and his passion for gardening.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family: Children. Debbie Lacy (Bill), Beth Gray-Lupkey (Bill), Joy Bounds (Steve); Grandchildren, Melissa Miller (David), Michael Lacy (Stephany), Amanda Alley (Jason), Matthew Gray (Pam), Stephanie Chunn (Chris), April Garrett (Timmy), Jonathan Gray, Stephen Gray (Kessie); great grandchildren Mitchell and Masyn Lovelady; Emilee, Brooklynne, Courtnei and Logan Lacy; Elias and Giuliana Alley; Augustus and Magnolia Gray; Ashtyn Garrett; and Alexandre, Mykel, Embrilyce, Amadeus, and Adiya Gray.
There will be a visitation on Friday November 8th from 6-8pm. There will be a memorial service at Griffin Leggett Conway Funeral Home on Saturday November 9th starting at 1pm.
