Doyle J. Diggs

Doyle J. Diggs, age 80, of Bonnerdale, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at his home. He was born on February 26, 1939, in Bonnerdale, the son of William Lee Diggs and Margaret Suvilla McGough Diggs. On May 15, 1959, he was married to Robbie Lucille Owens. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lester Diggs and Roy Diggs; his sister, Mattie Lou Aguilar; and his grandson, Deric Wayne Diggs. He is survived by his wife, Robbie Diggs; his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Edsel Milholen; his son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Gloria Diggs; five grandchildren, Josh Milholen, Nicole Diggs Reid, Katie Milholen, Jared Hearne and Amber Perez; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roy and Priscilla Owens; his sister-in-law, Willa Mae Diggs; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2019, in the Nelson Cemetery with Bro. Kyle Cowart officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Darrell Diggs, Edsel Milholen, Josh Milholen, Jared Hearne, Michael Brannigan, Ronnie Driggers, Mark Walston and Bret Willingham. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
