Doyle Edward Hood, Jr., 67, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022. He was born July 6, 1955 in Danville, Arkansas to Doyle Edward Hood, Sr. and Kaye Hood. Doyle was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.
Doyle served in the United States Air Force. After his honorable discharge, he worked as a draftsman. In the early 1980's Doyle completed barber school and spent the rest of his career as a barber. Most recently he worked for many years at Jerry's Barber Shop in Little Rock and he was co-owner of Hood's Barber Shop in Little Rock with his former wife, Levetta.
He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Edward Hood, Sr. of Little Rock; brother Ricky Wayne Hood of Greenbrier; and first wife and mother of his sons, Marie Hood of Roland.
Doyle is survived by his two sons and their wives Cory and Laura and Shawn and Ashley; his four granddaughters, Hadley, Harper, Courtney, and Abigail. He is also survived by his mother, Kaye; his brother, Mark; his two sisters, Sharon and Sherry; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Doyle is also survived by his sidekick, Libby, his Labrador retriever.
There will be no service for Doyle.
