Douglas H. Brock, 74, passed away November 13, 2011. He was born and raised in Little Rock where he graduated from Little Rock High School in 1954 just prior to it becoming Central High.
He is survived by his wife, Treva Brock; daughters, Jamie Wadlington (Michael) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Wendy DiCicco (Rob) of Benton and Deborah Brock of Galveston, Texas; stepson, Glenn Strawn of Redfield, stepdaughter, Pamela Strawn (deceased); brother, George Brock, Jr. (Billie Jean), and sisters, Carmen Hall (Bob, deceased) and Gayle Hoffman (Ralph), all of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Heather, Michael, Sara, Josh and Evan; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves too many friends and hunting/fishing buddies to name.
Doug spent most of his adult life in the Diesel Engine parts business in sales and is known to many in that field. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and was very happy out in God's woods or on His lakes and rivers.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, Cancer Research or to Hospice Home Care.
