Dottie Speights

Dottie M. Speights, 82, of North Little Rock passed away in Mayflower Thursday, May 22, 2014. She was born February 22, 1932 in Keo, Arkansas to the late John Henry and Nannie Taylor Moore. She was of the Baptist faith. Dottie was an avid reader. She loved hummingbirds, flowers, fishing, her children and grandchildren and loved hearing stories about them. She retired as a cosmetologist after forty years.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bobby Speights of Conway; four children, Carolyn Schwaller (Larry) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Bobby Whitfield, of North Little Rock, Robbie Johnson (Jack) of Conway and Rhonda Allen (John) of North Little Rock; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her seven sisters and one brother.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72120.
