Dorthea McKenzie
Dorthea Jean McKenzie, 81, of Bryant, Arkansas, was born July 8, 1932 at Beebe, Arkansas, to James Milton and Helen Ruth (Roberson) McKenzie, and she died Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Dorthea was a lifelong Methodist and a current member of Beebe First United Methodist Church. She devoted her life to loving, teaching and caring for the children of her community.
She is survived by two sisters, Jimmie Ruth Lawrence of Fort Smith and Helen Marie Phillips of Lakeland, Florida; one brother, James M. McKenzie of Bryant; and seven nieces and nephews.
Dorthea was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2014, at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Beebe. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
