Dorothy Thorpe
Dorothy L. Thorpe, 92, of Harris Brake Lake went to be with the Lord to suffer no more on January 9, 2009. She was born August 16, 1916 in Morrilton, Arkansas to the late Sam and Nora Todd. Dorothy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 51 years, Past Worthy Matron of Forest Park Chapter, Perry Chapter and a proud member of the 64 Club.
She is survived by three children, Pat (Truel) Turner of Sheridan, E. Robert (Martha) Thorpe and James (Mary) Thorpe all of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Paula Henry, John Kusturin, Pam Pardun and DeAnna Eubanks; nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Hebert Todd .
Memorials may be made to Easter Star Chapter 598 of Perry, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
