Dorothy Loyd Studdard, 58, of Jacksonville passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014. She was born September 20, 1955 in North Little Rock to the late Charles W. and Julia Martin Loyd. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School and graduated from Mt Saint Mary High School in 1973. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and loved her family.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jack Studdard, of Jacksonville; daughters, Summer Kersey (Neal) of North Little Rock, Stacey Studdard, of Sherwood and Jessica Lalicata (Nick) of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Sydney Nicole Kersey and Olivia Grace Kersey; sisters, Patricia Mahan (Larry) of Paris, Tennessee ; Deborah Stull (Stanley) of Sherwood and Elizabeth Carll ( Mark) of North Carolina and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Loyd.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. A rosary service will be held 5:00 p.m., Sunday followed by a visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
