Dorothy Strozyk

God sent Dorothy (Dottie) Bernice Strozyk, 91, of North Little Rock (Marche), Arkansas to help guide us all on a path of love and hope. Saturday, January 18, 2020, she finished that journey. She was born on October 16, 1928, in Arden, Arkansas, to Oscar and Viola Callicott, both of Foreman, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters; Marie Moore of Ashdown, Arkansas and Alma Grogan of Little Rock, Arkansas. She is survived by her husband Deacon Brunon John Strozyk of North Little Rock (Marche); son John William Strozyk (Traci) of Strongsville, Ohio; son Paul Anthony Strozyk (Danna) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; daughter Teresa (Terri) Marie Kelly (Michael) of Little Rock, Arkansas; and daughter Shara Len Justice (Jack Justice Jr.) of North Little Rock (Marche), Arkansas. Also, Dottie (Busha) is survived by eleven grandchildren, Ben Strozyk (Jordyn) of Brook Park, OH; Blake Strozyk (Hannah) and Brent Strozyk of Strongsville, OH; Haley, Sean and Ethan Strozyk of Hot Springs, AR; Morgan and Hayden Kelly of Little Rock, AR; Jack Justice III, Jessica Civello (Sam), and Jordan Burnett (Kenny) of North Little Rock (Marche), AR; as well as one great-grandchild, AdaMae Civello, daughter of Sam and Jessica Civello. On May 6, 1961, Dottie married Brunon John Strozyk and later gave birth to four children. Dottie always had a kind word to say to everyone she met. As a mother she raised their four children with expectations of high standards while still mothering in a loving and kind way. Dottie was a devout, converted Catholic and a devoted wife. She centered her life on living the scriptures and helping others develop their own faith. She was the perfect partner for Deacon Brunon as she participated and supported him in parenting and in his ministry. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in North Little Rock (Marche), Arkansas.
