Dorothy Sue Shepherd, age 76 of Donaldson, AR, died Sunday January 6, 2008 in Advanced Care Hospital in Hot Springs. She was born July 10, 1931 in Hot Spring County the daughter of Delas and Edna Ault Efird. She was a retired seamstress for the Levi-Strauss Company and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was the widow of Otis Shepherd and preceded in death by one son Sammy Lynn Shepherd.
Survivors include on son William Woolsey of Raleigh, N. C., one step-son Layron Shepherd of Cleveland, AR, four daughters, Ina Carter of Glen Rose, AR, Alicia Lester of Arkadelphia, Peggy Shepherd of Donaldson and Christine Pope of Malvern, one sister Linda Goodson of Metropolis, IL, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will 2 PM Wednesday at the First Church of the Nazarene in Caddo Valley with Brother Mel Vail officiating and interment in the Mt. Pleasant Pleasant Cemetery in Friendship.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
