Dorothy Mae Saville

She leaves behind two sisters; Willa Brewer of Sherwood, Arkansas, Billie Boyd of Hot Springs, Arkansas; children, Sherri Moss (Randy) of Alexander, Arkansas, Allen Eastep (Lynn) of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Dale Saville (Joe) of Dallas, Texas. She also leaves behind four grandchildren; Mandy, Megan, Ryan, Sierra; and seven great-grandchildren, Brycen, Carson, Brent, Cailyn, Macrae, Camdyn, Elowyn.

Dorothy graduated from Sheridan High School in 1954. She later married, became a homemaker and was a wonderful mother to 3 children whom she adored. She was a very kind and compassionate person who never met a stranger and always put her family’s needs before herself.  

Dorothy also enjoyed league bowling in which she earned many trophies, recognitions and awards for her high game series. When she wasn’t enjoying time with her family and friends, she was cooking great southern meals, working on a great tan, spending time in the garden, listening to music and looking for every opportunity to dance. She was fun loving and always the life of the party.

Visitation will be 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107) with a funeral service following at 10:30 AM. Interment will immediately follow at 12:00 PM at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
