Dorothy Ponder

Dorothy Mae Ponder, 77, of Sherwood, went to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep on September 9th, 2024. 

Dorothy was born on June 5th, 1947 to Irvin and Adrie Stafford in Lonoke, Arkansas. She spent her childhood and younger years with 6 siblings, 5 brothers and a  sister. 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Adrie; Brothers, Jimmy, Tommy, and Donald Stafford. 

She is survived by her husband Bobby of 45 years, Brother, Billy (Brenda) Stafford of Alexander. Lynda (Steve) Parks of Sheridan. James (Lisa) Stafford of Sheridan, Children: Bobby (Alonna) Ponder, Rae Austin of Mayflower, Ashley (Cedean) Kematick of Sherwood. Grandchildren: Shelley, Paige, Lexie, Camie, John, Estelle, and great granddaughter, Oakley.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by the funeral at 12:00 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2024 at First Pentecostal Church, 1401 Calvary Road, North Little Rock. Burial will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park
