Dorothy Munson

Dorothy Faye Munson, 81, of North Little Rock, died in Wagnon Nursing Home in Warren, Arkansas on Tuesday, May 20, 2008. She was the only child of Vertie Mae and Ernest Neil. She retired from the North Little Rock School system as a cafeteria worker and was a proud member of Levy Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dana Anita Rowe and her parents. Survivors include her husband of 61 ? years, Daniel Alfred Munson; two daughters, Deborah Faye Spencer and her husband Douglas of Warren and Denise Beth Foster and her husband Barry of Rose Bud; son, Daniel Jeffery Munson, of North Little Rock and son-in-law, Joseph Rowe of Floyd, AR. They were also blessed with nine grandchildren, Mark Spencer and his wife Kristy, Cindy Langston and her husband Jason, Angela Foster, Brandy King, Daniel Foster and his wife Bonnie, Donald Foster and his wife Cheri, Keli Woody and her husband Johnny, Lucas Rowe, BJ Ellis and Josh Munson; eleven great grandchildren and many other friends and family.
Memorials may be to Levy Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, 3501 Pike Ave., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday at Levy Baptist Church. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery in Mabelvale. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
