Dorothy Mills

Dorothy June Mills, 83, went to be with the Lord suddenly, on October 11, 2018. She was born on August 9, 1935 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Homer and Flossie Squires.
In March of 1951, she married James Mills, who she loved for 67 years. She asked Jesus as her Savior at the age of 12. God gifted her with a servant's heart! Through her ministry with her loving husband - she taught Sunday School, Children's Church, and VBS; took countless meals to homes, fellowships and provided for those in need. She loved Jesus and serving Him.
Dorothy is survived by her husband James Mills; three children, Judy (Gordon) Beal, Linda Williams, and Randy (Gabrielle) Mills; eight grandchildren, Kelli, Orion, Joshua, Ashley, Matthew, Lindsay, Cody, and Michaela; twenty great-grandchildren; brother Bobby (Kay) Squires; brother -in- law Pete Nugent and sister -in- law Sandra Squires; many nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved very much. She had more friends than you can imagine and cherished each and every one of them.
She is preceded in death by her parents Homer & Flossie Squires, two sisters Ernestine Nugent & Sybil Bowden, and one brother Joe Squires. Dorothy is followed in death by her brother, Jimmy Squires.
Family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. Monday October 15, 2018 at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., with burial in Sylvania Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. www.smithfamilycares.com
