Dorothy (Leak) Mason, 89, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born May 2, 1925 at McRae, Arkansas to Issac and Helen (Yoakum) Leak, and she passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
She was a precious, beautiful lady who was loved by all. She enjoyed crafts, and lived her life "one day at a time".
Dorothy is survived by two sisters, Mabel Hooper and Ruth Wyatt; two brothers, Arlen and Lester Pipkins; and five generations of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Mason; birth parents Jack and Helen Leak who died when Dorothy was very young, and Jess and Mae Pipkins, who raised her as their very own; sisters Margaret Cradduck, Leta Wilkerson and Delois Mills; brothers Harlie, Howard and Harold Glenn Pipkins.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2014, at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Antioch Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home.
