Dorothy Lanford, 83, North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012. She was a member and taught Sunday school for 45 years, and director of Care and Share Ministry for 17 years at Faith Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, O.W. "Bill" Lanford, of North Little Rock; son, Mike Lanford (Nancy) of Mayflower; daughter, Kay Waldo (Andy) of Scott; three grandchildren, Erin (Lindy) Lanford, of North Little Rock, Tami Lanford, of Conway and Cory Gaskins (Ellen) of Sherwood; great-grandson, Brennan Lanford; and brother, John Smith, of North Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Lou Green and Billie Frances Sullivan; and brother, Austin Dale Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, 109 Tanglewood Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Faith Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday at the church.
