Dorothy G. Henderson, 86, of Sherwood died Wednesday, May 30, 2007. She was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ and worked for JC Penney for 13 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Ellen Harden; brother, W.C. Harden and two sisters, Thelma Chappell and Geneva Allred. Her survivors are her husband of 70 years, Chester Henderson, of Sherwood; son, Bobby Henderson and wife, Sharon of Hot Springs Village; two daughters, Dorothy Jean McDonald and husband, Quitman, of Sherwood and Mary Horton and husband, Winston of Jacksonville; step son, Chester Stanhope, of Pensacola, Florida; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sylvan Hills Church of Christ Building Fund, 117 West Maryland, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pine Bluff Memorial Park.
