Dorothy Harvey
Dorothy Marie (Brown) Harvey, 76, of Little Rock, passed into the presence of the Lord April 12, 2009. She was born November 17, 1932, the daughter of the late Floyd Allie and Bernice Brown. Dorothy enjoyed container gardening and loved flowers. She was a lifetime member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church and retired from a position with the State of Arkansas.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harold Harvey; a son, Johnny "Wayne" Harvey and wife, Aurelia of Greenbrier; a daughter, Beverly McDowell of Little Rock; a sister, Allene McLellan of Shannon Hills; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a multitude of nieces, nephews and friends. She will be greatly missed.
There will be visitation Wednesday evening, April 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. The funeral service will be on Thursday, April 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Crystal Hill Baptist Church, 18823 Crystal Valley Rd., officiated by Rev. Larry Ballard, followed by interment in Crystal Hill Cemetery.
