Dorothy Elizabeth Wright, 85, of Benton, AR passed away on July 5, 2021.  Dorothy was born in Benton, AR on February 9, 1936 to the late John Wimmer and Louise (Krieghbaum) Wimmer.

Dorothy enjoyed traveling and had visited all of the lower 48 states.  She loved animals and her backyard was often a zoo. Her life was her family. Dorothy was blessed to have two great and special loves of her life. She loved holidays and family gatherings. Dorothy was a woman of strong faith and had no fear of the unknown as she passed surrounded by her family. She was the president of the P.T.A., a Cub Scouts leaders and Girl Scout leader.

Dorothy is preceded in death by two loving husbands  Bill Carter and Roy Lee Wright; grandson: Danny Joseph Carter; parents; and sister: Doris Petz.

Dorothy is survived by three sons: Bill (Jeanna) Carter, Danny (Cathy) Carter, and Jimmy (Lynn) Wright; three daughters: Dottie (Mike) Lobbs, Jeannie (Ray) Long, and Debbie (James) Stailey; grandchildren: Doug (Brianna), Jessica, William, Megan (Matt), Kristina, Annabelle, and Ronnie; great-grandchildren: Jax, Kloie, Paisley, and Raygan; sister: Clara Stovall;  as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins that will miss her dearly.
