Dorothy Edwards

Dorothy Marie Edwards, 90, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on February 5, 2022.  She was born on October 2, 1931 on the family farm in Salina, Kansas to Vincent and Cecilia Schneider.

“Dottie” was a registered nurse, long-time member of Immaculate Conception Church of North Little Rock, and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved to travel, tend her garden, help at the church, and was happiest when spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Alfred Linson Edwards, one son, Terrance Edwards, one brother, Norb Schneider, and one sister, Mildred (Mickie) Pasek.

She is survived by four children, Mark Edwards (Phyllis), Ann Shaw (Arnol), Larry Edwards (Regina), and Scott Edwards (Cathy); four grandchildren, Kate, Jennifer, Adam and Ashley; five great grandchildren, Liam, Xander, Jonny, Laken and Blair; and many friends.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Mass of Christian Burial is 11:30 AM, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock. Interment will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.

Pall bearers will be Mark Edwards, Larry Edwards, Scott Edwards, Arnol Shaw, Adam Shaw and William Merriott.
