Dorothy "Dottie" Jean Hahn

Dorothy “Dottie” Jean Hahn, 78, of Sherwood, Arkansas, was called home to God while surrounded by her loving family on September 21, 2024. Dottie was born January 7, 1946, in Springfield, Arkansas to Elbert and Gladys Crowder. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Jack Hahn; her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Dottie dedicated her life to her family, friends, and faith. A devout member of Central Baptist Church, she embraced all with genuine love, extending her warmth and compassion to friends and strangers alike. Dottie lived a life of service; always making sure everyone else was taken care of and happy. There wasn’t a single soul on earth who didn’t adore Dottie and her absence will be forever felt by all who loved and cherished her.

Dottie found joy in flying all over with her husband, Jack and nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She treasured her phone calls with family and friends; leaving her signature “Hey Sweetheart” voicemail if she ever missed out on one. The hallmark of Dottie’s life was God, her family, and her friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 26, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM at Central Baptist Church followed by a graveside service at Kilgore Cemetery in Springfield.
