Dorothy Jean Armbrust, 86, of Sherwood, passed away October 18, 2014 at Sherwood Nursing and Rehab. She was born June 14, 1928 in Fredrickstown, Mo.; she was the daughter of Fred Combs and Mary Combs Hines.
Dorothy was a homemaker for 69 years. She was a member of Kellogg Valley Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, quilting, vegetable and flower gardening.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and husband of 69 years, Johnny Armbrust, daughter Diana Spencer, and niece Mary Jean Carr. Survivors include sister, Mary Milsaps, daughter Brenda Burns (Jim), son-in-law, Mike Spencer, grandchildren, Amanda Pisanelli (Chris), Melissa Grizzell (Dennis), Lisa Pierson (James), John Spencer (Michelle), five great granddaughters and one great grandson.
Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Wednesday, October 22, 2114 at the Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimers Arkansas.
