Dorman Bryant

Dorman Boyce “Pinky” Bryant, age 91 of McRae, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord September 19, 2022.  He was born July 6, 1931, in Spring Creek, Texas to Chester and Martha Bryant.  He was a retired Nurse Tech at the VA Hospital in North Little Rock. 

As a young man, Dorman became an ordained Church of Christ minister, traveling from coast to coast in service to the Lord.  In 1955, he met his soulmate, the love of his life, Clara Ladine Wiley, and were married in 1956.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Bryant of McRae; one son, Stephen Bryant and his wife Anna of Cabot; five grandchildren, Michael Bryan Bryant, Rachael Nichole Roark, Stephen Douglas Bryant, Aaron Michael Pitts, and Lace`e Paige Bryant; and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, David Boyce Bryant, two brothers and six sisters.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.  Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Lebanon Cemetery.  To sign the online registry, visit www.smithfamilycares.com/westbrook
