Doris Taylor

Doris Lightfoot Taylor of Lonoke and Saint Joe, Arkansas, departed this life Thursday, November 11, 2009, at Hospice of the Hills in Harrison, Arkansas to go home to her Lord. She is a beloved mother and grandmother who spent twenty-eight years working as a line leader for AT&T until her retirement. In her younger years, Doris loved to play basketball; however, the love of her life was training and showing horses.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Taylor; her sons, Albert Earl Taylor and James Earl Taylor; her granddaughter, Ellen Jean Coosenberry; her brother, Jim Hoggard of Conway, Arkansas; and her parents, Albert and Annie Hoggard of Lonoke.
She is survived by her sisters, Peggy Keller of Lonoke and Betty Keller of Lake Village; her daughter, Barbara McNeese; her grandchildren, Crystal and Brian Baisdon of Western Grove, Dawn and Jamie Stills of Saint Joe, Albert Earl Taylor, Jr. and Joe Kyle Taylor both of Serepeta, Louisiana; and her great-grandchildren, Taylor Keller of Lake Village, Trenton and Zachary Stills of St. Joe, and Destiny and Zane Taylor of Serepeta, Louisiana.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, with interment to follow at Old Austin Cemetery. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all who sent their condolences.
